What is that smell!!

I left yesterday morning to go garage selling and when I came home there was an awful smell in the air. It smelt like raw sewage. I went into the house and the smell became worse. I then realized that Duke had started to do the necessary things to the pool to open it and get the system running. The smell was coming from our pool. Sorry, neighbors-you all are invited over anytime to enjoy the pool when it does not stink. I immediately toook a water sample to pools of fun and we have to do a complete water change. However, this is not as easy as it sounds. You cannot drain an ingropund pool completely. So we drained it to the top of the bottom step and began finlling it it again. It took 18 hours to fill it. When it was drained duke used the pool brush and realized the water was clear. It was the bottom of the pool that was brown (dirt I am assuming). This means I need to vacuum, vacuum, and vacuum some more. And all of you know how well I like to cavuum my carpet. At least I will be outside doing this vacuuming. ANyone is welcome to come and help me if they so desire. Anyway, the stinch is almot gone. At least I am not smelling it half way down the block. I promise the pool will be ready by the begiining of June. I look forward to everyone coming and enjoying the pool with us. I think it is a waste when only ANdre wand his friends swim in it.
