Oh no, not again!!

I thought I would let you all go through my airline ticket experience. It actually started lst year when I bought a plane ticket for Duke on-line. Well, at least I meant to buy it for Duke. When they sent the confirmation e-mail, I realized I had bought the ticket for me. I immediately called and Airtran so kindly changed the name for me. Well, I have been looking for a good deal on tickets for our summer trip to Florida. By the time we had the money, the tickets had gone up to over 250.00 per person before fees and taxes. I wasn't paying that even with the high gas prices if we drove. So I have been checking the website frequently, hoping they would add a new flight or for some miraculous reason, the tickets would go down. Well, Friday was the day. I was able to buy the tickets for a little of $175.00 all fees included. I was estactic. About 15 minutes later, Duke calls me at work. He NEVER calls me at work. I thought something was terribly wrong. All he said was "Kim, we are going to Florida in May"- Oh, no! I did not just do that. I booked our June 20th trip for May 20th. Once again, I call the airline immediately. They were really nice. I am sure they were laughing in the background (especially if there is record of last year's incident). They cancelled the flight -Thank You for that God. They would only issue me a credit and not a refund, but at least I did not have to pay any fees for changing my flight.
